Freestyle Basketball Entertainer Showreel | Snake

New showreel from freestyle basketball entertainer Jesse “Snake” Muench featuring some of his performance highlights.

OK, this isn’t all freestyle, but honestly it doesn’t matter, because this promo changed the flow freestyle game as we know it.  The “Mike Thomas” (between the legs catch and pull-through), is in just about every freestylers’ repetoire right now, and for that alone this clip made an impact.  On top of that Mission’s creative moves, H20 and Replay’s smooth combos, and Kodak and Intimidator’s unique swaggers brought something new to the game when originality was lacking bigtime.

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted something new, my bad.  Anyways, check out this cat, some of you may have seen him before some may have not.  As far as I know this was his only vid, but he RIPS it on this one.  He’s an incredibly smooth flow and clean style.  A lot of his arm roll moves look similar to the ones guys from Japan have been doing over the last couple of years.

Check this joint out.  It’s Kamikaze’s second freestyle, and at over 2 years old it is still one of the sickest on youtube.  You can see the beginnings of a lot of his current signature combos and moves in this clip.  Pay attention to his nice footwork, form, speed, and creativity.  Plus there’s a sick beat right outta The Matrix.

Bombfire was one of the first freestylers to truly intergrate breakdance and gymnastic type moves into his flow.  His footwork was silky and his arm and body movements were unorthodox.  This unique combination still hasn’t been matched by any freestylers today.

Bobbito is one of those rare freestylers who finds ways to be innovative while staying true to the soul of basketball.  He utilizes more dribbling than most freestylers nowdays, and mixes in some funky footwork and unique hand motions between dribbles.  As Bob himself would put it, he can “boogie”.

When A2W dropped this freestyle he changed the spinning game forever.  He took spin tricks and gave them a creative edge and street flair that simply wasn’t being done by anyone else at the time.  He didn’t stop with just spin tricks, though.  This clip showed a plethora of new freestyle tricks that shocked and awed freestylers everywhere.

Goosebumps’ Notic 2 freestyle was and still is regarded as one of the best freestyles to date. With a combination of Jay-Z, Jer, and one handed finger tip dribbling this free is no doubt a classic.

Papo came with something all his own on Dime55′s first mixtape. He brought in a few dance steps, endless combos, mind blowing shirt tricks, and still has one of the smoothest styles and flows to date. He was one of the true creative leaders during his time.

Years after people thought the Notic was dead this clip dropped out of nowhere starring David Dazzle. Dazzle showed his handles were still crisp and displayed some fresh moves all in his distinctive style. Meahwhile, newcomer 6th Sense jolted the freestyle world with his brand new approach to freestyling and rapid fire hands. All together this video was a great combination of old style meets new, and had ‘stylers everywhere picking up some fresh moves and ideas.
