I just caught this on youtube. This guy died in 1931 and was doing stuff that would be considered innovative right now - that says something about the amount of talent and creativity he had. It just goes to show you that no matter how good anyone is, there’s always someone out there you don’t know about that is doing mind blowing stuff.
Here’s some sick new performances MSDK and other freestylers from Japan -
Grip has been on tour and met up with A2W and Tommy Baker in London and did some filming. Check it out -
The contest had 11 submissions and a lot of dope moves were created. Check them out here and place your vote by September 3rd.

Do you have a sick move that you think tops anyone else’s move out there? Now’s the time to show what you got. We’ll be running a contest August 9th – August 23, 2009, to see who has or can come up with the sickest freestyle move. The winner will get a full feature and interview on the front page of Freestyle Central. For more details about the contest and entry information click here –> http://freestylebasketball.forumotion.net/general-f10/freestyle-central-move-contest-rules-and-video-entries-t276.htm#2765
I’ve got a bunch of online freestyle battles for you all to check out, some are newer some have been out for a little while. The first is from some dudes, Anklez and Angry, who are a bit newer to the freestyle game. Both of them did their thing. Check out the vids and vote for who you think won here – http://freestylebasketball.forumotion.net/battle-f9/angry-vs-anklez-t268.htm
The second battle features two seasoned verterans – Kyle and Madskillz. Both of them tore it up on this one. Check out the vids and vote for a winner here – http://freestylebasketball.forumotion.net/battle-f9/mad-skillz-vs-kyle-t269.htm
Last is a battle between Crossta and N-Tray, they both brought different things to the table and both held it down. Check it out and vote here – http://freestylebasketball.forumotion.net/battle-f9/crossta-vs-n-tray-t270.htm#2721
It’s been a minute since I’ve posted something new, my bad. Anyways, check out this cat, some of you may have seen him before some may have not. As far as I know this was his only vid, but he RIPS it on this one. He’s an incredibly smooth flow and clean style. A lot of his arm roll moves look similar to the ones guys from Japan have been doing over the last couple of years.
Check this joint out. It’s Kamikaze’s second freestyle, and at over 2 years old it is still one of the sickest on youtube. You can see the beginnings of a lot of his current signature combos and moves in this clip. Pay attention to his nice footwork, form, speed, and creativity. Plus there’s a sick beat right outta The Matrix.
Check out one of Denmark’s finest freestylers and streetballers - MWP. This Epsiode of TOTB shows a bit of freestyle and game footage along with MWP discussing how he get involved into the freestyle and streetball game.
There’s been a nice little revival of the more old-school freestyle type videos coming out over the last couple of weeks. TOTB’s DK and LC along with Tusko have put out some sick flow freestyles which bring more dribbling back into the equation. Be sure to check all the vids out they’re all dope!
